Waiting For Abduction

The Galaxy’s Ultimate Classic Rock Band: Waiting For Abduction

Waiting For Abduction

Waiting for Abduction is the culmination of years of faithfully watching the skies for aliens, having a great time, and playing a little rock-n-roll at the same time.  These extraterrestrials of performing have come together to form a powerful sound that stretches the gambit of the entire rock genre.  Their wildly varied song selection blends mainstream rock-n-roll with the classics of yesteryear and a taste of alternative into an evening of great music suitable for aliens of all ages.  A full-on guitar attack hits you full in the face from the opening notes of the first song to the powerful crescendo of the finale.  Waiting for Abduction stands ready with guitars in hand for the alien spaceship to return to Earth & take us all home.

Lead guitarist Greg “the Wildman” Wagley returns to Earth after a leave of absence to retrace the path  of the lost Mayan civilization across the cosmos.  One can only experience in person why Greg is the driving force behind Waiting for Abduction.  His incredible guitar playing can only be described as “unearthly”.  But watch out, he just might hose you ...

Rhythm guitarist & vocalist “The Professor” BT Morgan is the band’s resident “alien expert” due to his having been abducted 7 times to date.  The implants really don’t hurt anymore … much.  BT also likes to walk on tables and keep the audience guessing where he will appear next.  He also keeps his “thought-control” helmet close-by just in case !!!

“Nebulus Drummer” Tom Brooks keeps the beat moving while enjoying the comforts of a cold mug of dark ale & a small ray of yellow sunshine from some distant sun of an unknown galaxy.  He got his first drum kit at age 6 which he used to terrorize his sisters unmercifully.  On the side, he plays drums for a Scottish Bagpipe band.  The kilt is worn traditionally, of course.

Mike “Wild, Wild” West anchors the middle like no other alien from any planet on bass guitar.  He credits the guitar he calls the “Ebony Assassin” with allowing him to reach his jamming potential.  Mike is a closet accordion player—just don’t mess with his squeeze bag ...

“Prostetnic” John Vogel adds a whole new sound to this entire region of the galaxy-keyboards!!!  Be nice to him or he might just read you some of his poetry.  Threats like that have been known to cause riots on several planets.  Earth is not yet ready for this type of controversy.

Waiting for Abduction concentrates on playing songs you know and love in their own straightforward style.  They bring experience, creativity, and a huge dose of a good time to the stage.  Come experience this incredible group of alien-watchers roaming this small, blue-green planet on the outer rim of the Milky Way galaxy known as Earth.
